About The Position

Direct Support Professional (DSP)Seven Hills Pediatric Center, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation
Position Summary:Provide direct support to individuals served, assisting with personal care activities, fostering independence, and contributing to their overall well-being in a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Standard driver’s license (Class C or D)
• Completion of healthcare training or competency evaluation program preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Activity planning and recreational skills.
• Health and safety protocols to ensure participant well-being.
• Assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility.
• Team collaboration and strong communication skills.
• Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to address minor emergencies.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of healthcare training or competency evaluation program preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting social and communication skills.
• Support community engagement and facilitate participation in activities outside the facility.
• Administer medications, follow care plans, and accompany individuals to appointments.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and promote well-being with individualized care.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and strategies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
