The position requires maintaining a clean and safe therapeutic environment, implementing infection control protocols, and assisting with personal care and daily living activities. Additional responsibilities include administering medication, teaching skills, supporting advocacy, and facilitating ethical decision-making. The employee will also transport individuals to various activities and appointments, safeguard personal funds, and develop specialized clinical knowledge for individual needs. The role includes data collection, reporting changes in behavior, and participating in team meetings to ensure quality care. The employee will utilize approved training techniques to respond to challenging behaviors and may be required to operate a YAI vehicle for transportation. The schedule includes part-time and full-time options with varying shifts.
