About The Position

We are hiring for all positions in our new Group Residential Home in West Hempstead. The DSP is responsible for assisting the people we support, while following established treatment plans. QSAC programs emphasize the importance of promoting safety, independence and integration into the community. You will abide by the Direct Support Professional Code of Ethics at all times. QSAC will be hosting an in person event with Hiring Managers that will give you the opportunity to receive employment decisions the same day. It will take place on 1.7.2026 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at our Jamaica office. We are hiring for open positions at our new residential home in Rochdale and Central Region. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • NY Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Provide Safety & Support
  • Ensure health, safety and welfare of individuals
  • Safeguard and respect the confidentiality of the individuals and their families
  • Assist the individuals to develop and maintain relationships
  • Promote and protect the health, safety and emotional well-being of the individuals
  • Commit to person-centered supports and honor the personality, preferences, culture and strengths of the individuals
  • Work in partnership with others to support all individuals to lead self-directed lives
  • Implement and adhere to established treatment plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Transport individuals in agency vehicles as needed
