About The Position

Direct Support Professionals are compassionate individuals that thrive on serving others. Rauch's Supported Living program has available openings for Direct Support Professionals in a residential setting. This role works effectively to provide direct assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting people served to be as independent as possible; mentoring individuals served on daily living skills; and helping clients be a part of the community. The DSP assists in implementing the individual's support plan and fosters each person's active involvement, decision-making skills, and opportunities to make informed choices to enhance and create self advocacy skills. Experience is not required but preferred. Availability to work every other weekend is required. Must be scheduled a minimum of 20 hours per week for the Sign-on Bonus. Shift Differentials: Additional $0.50 for 2nd and 3rd shifts on weekdays; Additional $1.00 for weekends. Overtime hours currently available (though not guaranteed).
