Requirements

Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to follow structured plans and document thoroughly.
A valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, active environment with changing needs throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and crisis management are preferred; otherwise, candidates must obtain and maintain them upon hire.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily living, social, communication, and community engagement goals.
Follow each person’s support plan with accuracy and accountability.
Document progress, data, and observations clearly and on time.
Ensure safety and supervision at all times, including during outings and transport.
Identify and report changes in physical, medical, or behavioral status.
Encourage positive interactions and model appropriate behavior.
Maintain clean, safe program environments and vehicles.
