Our only daylight positions that are currently open are weekend positions (every other weekend). We have part-time evening and overnight positions in East Berlin, New Oxford, Biglerville, Hanover, Manchester, York and Carlisle. All full-time and part-time positions require a weekend (every other weekend) and holiday rotation. NOTE: Pay rates are based upon experience. Our current Full-time available positions are: Abbottstown: Evening position (3p-11p) w/ weekend rotation Abbottstown: Awake Overnight position (11p-7a) w/ weekend rotation Biglerville: Daylight/Evening position (11a-7p) w/ weekend rotation East Berlin: Evening position (2p-10p) w/ weekend rotation Hanover: Evening position (3p-11p) w/ weekend rotation Hanover: Awake Overnight position (10p-6a) w/ weekend rotation Hanover: Awake Overnight position (11p-7a) w/ weekend rotation New Oxford: Evening position (2p-10p) w/ weekend rotation York: Daylight/Evening position (four days per week, one 12-hr shift 6a-6p and two 10-hr shifts 7a-5p and 9a-7p) w/ weekend rotation (6a-2p) Windsor: Daylight/Evening position (11a-7p) w/ weekend rotation Windsor: Evening position (2p-10p) w/ weekend rotation Windsor: Evening position (3p-11p) w/ weekend rotation About the Job | What Do You Get to Do? Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are the key to the services we provide people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The job is rewarding, and you get to do the following: Thoroughly understand the wants and needs of the people you support and what is important to/for them Plan parties, games, crafts, outings, and other activities based on the interests of people you support Accompany people you support to attend fun community activities and appointments Support people with their daily living needs, independence skills, and personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, feeding, cooking, cleaning, etc.) Administer medication(s), after you receive thorough training Complete documentation, as needed About You There are a few things you’ll need to succeed at Skills.
