About The Position

The Day Support Activities (DSA) Direct Support Professional (DSP) for day service is responsible for a variety of duties related to community access, effective communication, interacting with others, and health and safety of the individual you are supporting. This includes supports for skill building and ensuring person centered goals are being met in accordance with the individuals Support Plan (ISP). Direct Support Professionals are required to perform all duties in accordance with State of Oregon Administrative Rules, related to the specific program they are working with. A typical shift as a DSP for day services could include taking a group of individuals into the community for skill building or working on independence with one individual.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must pass a background check
  • Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
