About The Position

Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services, is currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at our group homes in the Parsippany area, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities.

This part-time role is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income while making a meaningful difference.

To achieve full societal participation for all people with disabilities.

Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on care, supervision, mentoring, and guidance to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Your work will help individuals build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to successfully complete: State and Federal criminal background checks Drug screening Pre-employment physical and PPD
• Willingness to complete all required orientation and pre-service training

Nice To Haves

• DSP experience preferred (but not required)
