Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Overnight Shift

What You’ll Do Support individuals with personal care (hygiene, dressing, toileting as needed) Ensure safety and well-being throughout the overnight shift Assist with medications following agency policy Complete light housekeeping and prepare for the next day Follow Individual Support Plans (ISP) Document daily notes, behaviors, and any concerns Provide a calm, respectful, and supportive environment Encourage independence and meaningful daily living
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license (TN, KY, or AL; military exceptions may apply)
- Ability to read, follow directions, and communicate in writing
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and maintain a clear MVR
- Ability to attend and pass all required training
- TB test within the last 12 months (provided if needed)
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands
- Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
