About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team in and around Columbia and Montour County, PA. DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings, serving as a companion and mentor to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The role focuses on assisting clients to reach their full potential. BAYADA fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment, prioritizing employee well-being and offering flexibility in roles. Requirements

One year experience working or volunteering with intellectual and developmental disabilities
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, hygiene)
Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and community integration activities
Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies
