About The Position
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Part-time Diem Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Jackson, NJ. In this role, you will provide hands-on support, guidance, and mentorship to men with disabilities in a residential group home setting on a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- 20 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Consent to state and federal criminal background checks
- Drug screen, pre-employment physical, and PPD
- Completion of all required orientation and pre-service training
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living skills including cooking, housekeeping, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining healthy routines
- Support residents with personal care, hygiene, and basic medical needs
- Encourage social skills, coping strategies, and community engagement
- Mentor residents in building friendships and fostering independence
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
