Direct Care Worker – Hope Network Hope Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at all experience levels to support individuals in residential, community, and rehabilitation programs across West Michigan. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Michigan Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Flexibility in schedule
  • Ability to pass background checks as applicable
  • Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
  • Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support for daily living, community participation, and skill-building activities.
  • Assist with medication administration, behavior support plans, and health/safety monitoring as trained.
  • Transport and accompany individuals to community activities, appointments, and employment as needed.
  • Document progress, complete charts, and submit incident reports accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and supervisors to implement individualized plans.
  • Mentor and support newer staff (lead roles) and participate in ongoing training.
