About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year caregiving experience (professional or personal)
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Ability to pass background screening
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Ability to assist individuals with mobility and daily living tasks

Nice To Haves

• Experience with developmental disabilities or mental health is a plus
• DSP Certificate Year 1 & Year 2
• CPI Certification
• First Aid & CPR (or able to obtain within 30 days)

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily routines and life skills
• Following each individual’s Individual Program Plan (IPP)
• Encouraging personal goals and independence
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home
• Supporting community activities, hobbies, and social events
• Assisting with meals and household tasks
• Transporting clients to appointments or activities (company vehicles)
• Communicating with supervisors and reporting any concerns
