What You’ll Do: The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct support to individuals, assisting with daily living and community involvement: Assist with personal care, meal prep, daily routines, and household tasks Support individuals with shopping, budgeting, appointments, and personal goals Promote independence, choice, and life skills development Document progress toward goals outlined in individual service plans Communicate changes, concerns, and progress to supervisors Transport individuals between appointments and activities as needed Maintain accurate electronic documentation Flex Schedule Details Day/Evening/Overnight Options: Some positions include options of a day, evening, or overnight shifts. Location Flexibility: Staff may work at different sites within close proximity. Some sites will require floating between programs, with tentative schedules typically provided two weeks in advance. Expectations: Must be comfortable with occasional schedule or location changes, including emergencies, and actively engage individuals in person-centered community activities. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and insurance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, or squat for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience, training, or transferable skills that support success in this role
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in schedule, shift, or location

Responsibilities
