About the Role PALS Carpinteria is a 4-bed home for adults with Autism. The Overnight "Noc" shift Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides overnight supervision of the home environment. For the greater part of your shift, the residents are asleep. At all times and especially during awake hours, your role is to provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs support clients in daily living activities, community involvement, and personal growth, promoting independence and dignity in all aspects of life. This role involves direct care, advocacy, and skill-building in a respectful and person-centered manner. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will help individuals live more independently and participate actively in their communities.
