About The Position

ABiLITY is hiring a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities through community activities, transportation, and life-enrichment programs. This role is perfect for someone who wants a stable weekday schedule, likes helping others, and enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on support. Agency vehicles are provided for all routes and activities.

Requirements

• Compassion, reliability, and a team-focused mindset
• Age 25+
• High school diploma or GED
• Class E (Chauffeur’s) License or willingness to obtain (we provide guidance)
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, CPI, and Medication Aide certifications (paid training)
• Reliable personal transportation

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals safely in agency vehicles to and from programs
• Support community, recreational, and social activities
• Assist and coach Special Olympics practices and events
• Provide respectful, person-centered support
• Maintain simple, accurate documentation

Benefits
