About The Position

Direct Support Professional (DSP) A Great Opportunity / Full Time & Part Time OPENINGS/ 1st and 2nd shifts available / $17.00-$18.00 per hour INTERVIEW DAYS ARE ON TUESDAYS - from 10AM TO 12PM & 1PM-3PM AT OUR OFFICE! 4740 BELMONT AVE. YOUNGSTOWN, OH 44505 Make sure to bring the following items when you come in to interview: OH Driver's License I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification (SS Card, Birth Certificate, School Visa, Green Card, etc.) Auto Insurance Card Highest Level of Education Diploma (High School, GED, Bachelor's Degree etc.) At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid OH driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs, and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
