About The Position

McGuire Memorial is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide comprehensive services to children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. We offer a variety of positions including full-time, part-time, limited schedule, and PRN roles. The DSPs will work in our Community Homes and Intermediate Care Facility, engaging in fulfilling work that helps individuals live life to the fullest.

Requirements

• Ability to pass physical and drug screening
• Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
• FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting)
• TB testing
• Driver’s License (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Meet individuals' daily physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
• Participate in daily social, recreational, and community-based activities
• Assist in bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and positioning
• Ensure individuals' health and safety
