We are seeking compassionate, motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for both Part-Time and Full-Time positions at our Wabash, IN location. As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and personal growth. Your role includes assisting with daily living needs, managing medical care, and facilitating community involvement. You will be responsible for transporting individuals, supporting feeding (including G-Tube care), and maintaining medical devices such as colostomy bags, catheters, and tracheostomies as needed. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; a degree in human services is advantageous but not required.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities in an accredited setting preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with agency insurability.
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration training upon hire.
• Ability to stand for long periods, assist with lifting/transfers, and wear personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with feeding, personal hygiene, and specialized medical care.
• Developing trusting relationships with individuals served.
• Accompanying individuals on outings, helping them engage with the community.
• Facilitating life skills development through crafts, games, exercise, and more.
• Transporting individuals to and from facilities in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintaining timely and accurate records for billing, notes, and other documentation.
