About The Position
Siffrin is hiring Substitute Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. This part-time, fill-in caregiver role is ideal for candidates seeking flexible hours and meaningful work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed
- Basic computer skills (email, simple documentation)
- Must pass background and motor vehicle checks
- Willingness to complete required state and agency training
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance with daily living activities (personal care, meals, hygiene, household tasks)
- Support individuals in the home and community, promoting independence and dignity
- Transport clients safely to medical appointments and community activities
- Administer medications and follow care plans (paid training provided)
- Complete required documentation and follow health & safety guidelines
