There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
Empower people to live their best life: Become a Direct Support Professional with MV Advancements! For many adults who experience disabilities, the goal of living independently and on their own sometimes seems unattainable. But it isn't! Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are here to make the dream of living independently a reality. We actively support individuals in discovering their personal goals, building life skills, and meeting people where they are at in the pursuit of those goals. Sometimes, this looks like supporting someone with their morning routines and body care, building a meal plan, advocating for the people we support, or working through miscommunications and hurt feelings. Sometimes, this means celebrating big wins as supported individuals plan and host their favorite celebrations, like their first Super Bowl party! Other times, this means pivoting our days to meet unexpected and unplanned needs. We support people, so anything you do in your life as an adult might be something someone we support needs assistance to accomplish. Do you love a job where you're always on the go and make a real difference in people's lives? As a DSP, you'll be in constant motion, actively working side-by-side with adults experiencing disabilities who are eager to achieve their goals and build a life they love. Forget the desk - this is a hands-on position where you'll spend most of your time active in the field, helping individuals discover their potential, build vital skills, and engage in the life they choose. The challenge and perk of this position is its flexibility and digital nature. You are an active participant in structuring your day to meet supported individual, company, and team goals. While documentation skills are still essential, it is accomplished via an iPad, iPhone, or laptop while you are out and about. On average, you will spend about an hour a day on administrative work in the main office and the rest of your time in the field with supporting people in their homes or the community during a wide variety of activities.
