Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Passion for Helping Others
- Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation
- Good communication skills for reading, writing, documenting care, following support plans, and collaborating with team members
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry duties, all while fostering independence
- Maintain a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach their personal goals
- Provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations
