About The Position

Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to work with the people we support as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ Caregiver. Our residential locations in Bellevue, NE are looking for Monday - Friday 6am - 9am. What a Direct Support Professional Does: Works directly with people with developmental disabilities assisting them with day to day living activities. Supports individuals with activities and developing skills in a home environment and in community settings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass all background checks.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to change.
• Know the value of communication.
• Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.

Responsibilities
