Requirements

  • Excitement for working with adults with disabilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid Drivers License due to transporting persons served.
  • Comfortable driving company vehicles to transport persons served as required.
  • Successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process.

  • Experience with adults with mental health issues, disabilities or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in a residential group home by helping people with disabilities achieve a variety of outcomes.
  • Assist with personal cares and provide normalization/community integration.
  • Provide direct support or mentoring with daily activities to ensure health and safety.
  • Help with meals, cleaning, and facilitating fun activities.
  • Provide hands-on mentoring to help individuals become more independent.
  • Encourage individuals to achieve their personal goals.
