About The Position

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver in Madison, WI! As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver, you will assist individuals with disabilities in a residential group home setting, helping them achieve various outcomes and providing personal care. Your role will include supporting daily activities, ensuring health and safety, and facilitating community integration. You will also provide medication administration and ensure the medical well-being of those you support. If you have no experience, we will provide the necessary paid training and hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Excitement for working with adults with disabilities.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Successful background clearance required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Comfortable driving company vehicles to transport persons served.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with adults with mental health issues, disabilities, or related experience.
• Prior experience with intense high behaviors, both verbal and physical.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities in achieving personal goals and outcomes.
• Provide support and mentorship with daily activities.
• Help with meals, cleaning, and facilitating fun activities.
