About The Position

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE!!!!! -Must be 21 years of age or older -Must have 3 years legal driving experience -Must be able to obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card -Must be able to drive a large capacity van BENEFITS INCLUDE: PTO, Sick time, and Holidays!! JOB SUMMARY: The Direct Support Professional – Transportation (DSPT) will provide transportation services using company vehicles for individuals with developmental disabilities who attend our Adult Day Services program. The shifts consist of a morning route between 6:00 – 8:15 a.m. AND an afternoon route between the hours of 3:45 – 6:15 p.m. The DSPT will deliver services with compassion and respect. Training will be provided.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have 3 years legal driving experience
Must be able to obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must be able to drive a large capacity van
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License
Reliable means of transportation with current insurance and registration
Ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Ability to pass criminal, background and reference checks
Article Nine Training
Certification in Adult/Child/Infant CPR, and First Aid

Responsibilities

Provide safe transportation for our developmentally disabled members in large-capacity vehicles.
Meet the physical needs of the members during transportation.
Maintain accurate and timely records and reports. Complete Incident Reports, as required.
Always maintain professionalism while representing Family Partners, LLC
Provide safe transportation to and from the program and community activities
Possess organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Must have outstanding communication and social skills.
The ability to initiate tasks necessary for the program to run efficiently.
Daily cleaning and setting up equipment utilized for transportation.
