About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Development Services. In this role, you will support Participant in building life skills, fostering independence, and engaging in community activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in healthcare, human services, or working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to pass background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of community resources and inclusion practices

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support tailored to individual service plans
• Assist individuals with developing social, communication, and daily living skills
• Support participation in community activities (shopping, recreation, appointments, etc.)
• Encourage independence, self-advocacy, and personal growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members
