Abound Health is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers who want part-time, meaningful work supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their homes and communities. Many of our clients only need 410 hours per week , and for them, those few hours can change everything. Where We Need Caregivers We have immediate openings for part-time support in: Scranton, PA Dickson City, PA Newfoundland, PA Covington Township, PA Jermyn, PA Each clients needs are different and we work hard to match you with someone whose schedule and support needs fit your availability and comfort level. What Youll Do Your support helps individuals live fuller, safer, more connected lives. Responsibilities may include: Encouraging social, behavioral, and vocational skill development Supporting participation in community and recreational activities Providing companionship and respite for families Following treatment plans and documenting progress Assisting with daily living skills as needed Working independently in the clients home or community Completing required training and ongoing development This role is ideal for caregivers who want to make a meaningful impact without committing to full-time hours. What Were Looking For A genuine passion for supporting individuals with I/DD Ability to work independently and responsibly At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass background checks Willingness to assist with personal care if needed CPR/First Aid certification (training provided) 1 year of caregiving experience preferred, but not required Pay $15$20/hr Hours vary by client (typically 410 hours per week ) Benefits Flexible scheduling Weekly pay Competitive wages Paid onboarding training Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) available based on hours worked $1,000 Signing Bonus Details $333 after 90 days (20 hrs/week average) $333 after 6 months (20 hrs/week average) $334 after 1 year (20 hrs/week average) Not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates in the past 18 months.
