About The Position

South Texas Community Living is now hiring Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN Caregiver staff positions in the San Antonio area to work with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in a group home setting. This job involves the personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/ or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations. On the job Training provided! Shifts available: Full Time: Monday - Friday; Hours: 12AM - 8AM Full Time: Monday - Friday; Hours: 8AM - 5PM (SHL) Part Time: Saturday - Sunday; Hours: 8AM - 8PM Part Time: Saturday - Sunday; Hours: 8PM - 8AM Weekend Rotator: Friday - Sunday; Hours: 6PM (Fri) - 6PM (Sun) Opportunity to get additional hours as you're willing.

Requirements

• Valid and current Texas Driver's License
• Clear Background Check
• Clear DMV Check
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education
• No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
• No history of Medicaid fraud.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Grooming and Toileting
• Assistance with Meal Preparation and Mealtime Monitoring
• Assistance with Medication Administration
• House Cleaning (i.e., Sweeping, Mopping, Laundry etc.)
• Driving company vehicles
• Specialized Documentation
• Supervision during recreational activities
• Communication with outside family members and office staff.
