About The Position

Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) Various Hours Available Serving Clients in Allentown, PA & Surrounding Areas $1,000 Signing Bonus | $15.00$20.00/HR Abound Health is hiring compassionate, reliable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Allentown, Whitehall, Bethlehem, Emmaus, Macungie, Catasauqua, and nearby communities. Full and Part Time Hours Available! About the Role As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support in clients homes and communities. Your work helps individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid drivers license and active car insurance
• Open-minded and comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (not requiredtraining provided)

Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Work independently in home and community settings
