About The Position

Working directly as a Direct Support Professional, you will be able to assist in a residential setting. The Direct Support Professional (caregiver) is responsible for providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to those we support in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals. No Experience? That's fine, we will provide the necessary paid training and hands-on experience. Dungarvin is a national organization of privately owned companies that are dedicated to providing high quality, community-based supports to people with varying support needs. Founded in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1976, Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 5,000 employees who currently provide supports to almost 6,000 individuals across 15 states. Dungarvin provides a variety of individually tailored services and supports under the Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver. Other services provided include day services, supported employment, case management, supported foster care, children’s services, respite care, host homes and supports for persons with traumatic brain injury and mental health needs in several states. Our quality services are flexible and responsive to individual needs and choices, while maintaining the fiscal integrity that ensures the long-term stability and security every person expects and deserves.
