Direct Support Caregiver
About The Position
As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will engage in rewarding work helping individuals grow, learn, and live well. You will develop meaningful relationships with the people you serve, with leaders trusting you to do what's right for participants. The role involves taking initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities, as well as supporting them with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will also assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. This position is suitable for compassionate, patient individuals who find meaning in this type of work.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license held for at least one year (post-permit)
- Clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy
- High School Diploma or equivalent
