About The Position

Housby is looking for a driven and dedicated Direct Sales Representative to join our growing team! This position is responsible for selling all equipment Housby Online Sales has available, along with sourcing used trucks & equipment for Housby customers. Includes cold calling, developing strong relationships with customers, and completing transactions, all while upholding our guidelines and core values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in a sales role; experience in the heavy-duty industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, persistence, motivation, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and assist other team members as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other programs as assigned.
  • Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize CRM system to build and maintain a strong buyer base, connecting qualified buyers with available units for sale.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with Buyer Groups to support ongoing sales opportunities.
  • Complete and receive calls regarding equipment for sale, managing both buying and selling activities.
  • Recognize, appreciate, and leverage the correlation between call activity and successful transaction completion.
  • Negotiate terms of sale to meet goals and expectations for Consignors.
  • Source and purchase equipment on behalf of valued clients to meet their specific needs.
  • Facilitate the flow of documentation between Lenders and Housby's Titles Team to ensure timely and accurate transaction completion.
  • Attend trade shows and industry association conferences as needed to promote company offerings and build professional networks.
  • Listen actively and learn from client interactions to better understand their core needs and preferences.
  • Think creatively and collaborate effectively with inter departments to drive successful outcomes.
  • Meet or exceed minimum sales expectations as outline by management.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Follow all Company safety rules and policies.
