About The Position

Astound Broadband is currently searching for a MDU Direct Sales Representative in the Seattle, WA greater location, Bellevue, Kirkland, WA (Eastside) territory! Our MDU Direct Sales Representatives are responsible for promoting and selling our Astound Services; Data, Phone, and Video, throughout a specific market via door-to-door sales and events to prospective residential customers. This is a face-to-face and door-to-door position; It's not easy for everyone, however, the base salary and uncapped commission compensation is designed for excellent earnings potential! This is a dynamic opportunity to represent our multifamily sales initiatives. The sales representative will build relationships with community organizations, condo associations and property management groups of apartment buildings with 50+ units within our serviceable footprint.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
  • Enjoys working outdoors 'on the hunt' since 90% of all work is in the field
  • Excellent communications, relationship building, organizational, presentation and influence skills
  • Positive, creative and persuasive personality
  • Motivated, self-starter and comfortable with working autonomously
  • Detail oriented with highly developed organizational and time management skills
  • Sales-quota driven
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate individual sales through relationship building and maintaining a bi-weekly sales quota
  • Obtain new customers in a multifamily residential environment through professional, face-to-face interaction with residents, property management groups, and other referral sources
  • Aggressively pursue any leads provided daily
  • Understand every unique element of assigned properties within portfolio
  • Distribute marketing material, facilitate strategic marketing campaigns, build Astound brand awareness
  • Manage new building on-boarding process to drive subscriptions and drive penetration
  • Update CRM with relevant information on a daily basis
  • Review and understand property contract language, service levels, restrictions, and obligations
  • Understand customer needs and articulate solutions
  • Create, plan and execute regular multifamily property resident events
  • Attend mandatory sales meetings
  • Report sales statistics accurately and promptly to management
  • Stay up to date with what the competition is doing in your market
