About The Position
accessAbilities, a local Human Services agency, is hiring compassionate and caring, part-time staff to assist individuals with In Home Caregiver services in the Acme, PA area for our Home & Community services program. In Home Caregivers (also known as Attendants) support participants with household duties and personal care services. Staff assist with laundry, housekeeping, shopping and preparing meals, and help with errands. Duties also include transfers from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming and assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc. We offer Flexible Hours and Shifts. No experience is necessary. Paid training is provided. Prior experience as a direct care aide or home health aide is helpful.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance and up to 200 lbs. with assistance (hoyer lift)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

- Prior experience as a direct care aide or home health aide is helpful.
