About The Position
JEVS is one of the largest non-profits in the Philadelphia area. We are looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to join the JEVS Team. We are hiring for PART-TIME Direct Care Workers - $16.35 per hour! No experience? Don't worry! We offer paid training! Work in a home with up to three adults with disabilities. Help individuals with disabilities with daily life, including cleaning, feeding, and shopping. Take individuals to community events, including volunteer opportunities. Some of the obstacles of working in Direct Care include unpredictability, as our homes are 24/7, which means that weekends and holidays will be part of scheduling. While contributing to the success of the lives of those that we support, it can sometimes be taxing on our own bodies and minds.
