Riverside's Family After-School Program offers a structured, therapeutic environment for children ages 6-12 in the Cambridge and Somerville areas who have faced challenges including neglect, homelessness, and trauma. With a focus on clinically intensive, trauma-informed services, the program helps children develop coping skills, self-expression, and peer relationships, while supporting family involvement through regular events and collaboration. As a Direct Care - Relief team member, you'll work collaboratively with a dedicated group of professionals—including the Program Director, Clinical Specialist, Child and Family Counselor, and Young Adult Peer Mentor—to deliver engaging programming that supports children's emotional and social development.
