As a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Direct Care Worker , you'll provide compassionate personal care and support to individuals who rely on you daily. Whether you're certified or have relevant skills, this opportunity allows you to grow while making a real impact . We're seeking dedicated, friendly caregivers ready to deliver top-quality, in-home assistance in accordance with each client's personalized care plan.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Completion of a formal certification program or ability to pass a skills/competency test
  • Ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Neat appearance and good personal hygiene
  • Dependability, reliability, and sound judgment
  • Friendly, patient, and respectful with a sincere interest in caring for others
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Employment is contingent on the successful completion of the following clearances PA State Police Background Check (e-PATCH) Child Abuse Clearance FBI Background Check MA Fraud Check Social Security Verification DMV Check Negative TB test

Nice To Haves

  • Valid driver's license , insured vehicle in good repair, and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel independently to clients' homes (unless exempt)
  • Must be able to work at least two weekends per month as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with personal care : bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene, nail care, shaving
  • Mobility support : ambulation, transferring, positioning clients in bed, using assistive devices
  • Supporting physical therapy plans , passive and active exercises under supervision
  • Monitoring and communicating changes in physical or emotional health
  • Performing light housekeeping : laundry, tidying bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms
  • Preparing meals (including special diets), shopping for groceries, and household supplies
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
  • Using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when appropriate
  • Documenting care and submitting timely reports via telephony system
