Position Title: Direct Care Trainer I (DCT I) Location: Eagle Valley Children's Home Reports To: DCT Shift Supervisor & Assistant DCT Supervisor What You'll Do: As a DCT I, you’ll be a champion of compassion, helping individuals with disabilities live their best lives. From assisting with daily routines to supporting developmental goals, you’ll be part of a team that radiates care, respect, and positivity.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical: Able to stand tall and proud for long periods
• Ready to lend a helping hand (or two!) with physical care
• Can lift and carry up to 65 pounds
• Driver’s License: Must be 21 years of age with a valid Nevada's Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Background Check: We’re all about safety and trust. You’ll need a squeaky-clean record with no criminal convictions (per NRS 449). Background checks done during your orientation period

Responsibilities

• Following individualized treatment plans like a pro
• Being self-sufficient and resourceful
• Keeping documentation accurate and timely
• Assisting with daily living activities (think: brushing teeth, dressing, and more!)
• Maintaining clean and cozy living spaces
• Promoting dignity through appropriate grooming and attire
• Spreading kindness through positive interactions
• Performing basic therapy skills (splints, range of motion, positioning)
