Position Summary: The Supervisor provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. Improves the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and handling the day-to-day activities of the Community Home. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of all house staff. The Supervisor functions as a Residential Companion and is part of the direct care team. This full-time position works a schedule of daylight shifts, 7am to 3pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years’ experience working in a human service or related field
  • Current driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Must be able to lift 200lbs with assistance
  • Must be able to obtain clearances (FBI, child abuse and PA criminal)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience working in a human service, Special Education or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year experience working in a human service or related field
  • Supervisory experience and knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations).
