About The Position

Come join our team!!! We have a PART-TIME position available. We are currently seeking a motivated individual, with a real passion for helping others to join our Supportive Living Services team in Redwood City/San Mateo, CA Some experience with those on the spectrum is required. Services will focus on safety skills in the community, appropriate behavior in the community, picking up on social cues, community integration, healthy cooking skills, making a shopping list, shopping smart, planning a meal, following a recipe, and kitchen safety. Available shift: Afternoon - Friday, Saturday, &/or Sunday This position will be 4 hours a week These hours can be worked either on one day or a combination of these days. Rate of Pay: $22/hour The ideal candidate: Some experience with those on the spectrum is required Has a real passion for helping others Professionalism and respect for clients and colleagues Willingness to learn and grow in the role Reliable, energetic, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team Act as a positive role model to support the client and establish a constructive and appropriate personal relationship with client

Requirements

Some experience with those on the spectrum is required
Must be willing to drive a client in your personal vehicle that is in safe operating condition
High School Graduate or equivalent in experience providing personal care to individuals
Must satisfactorily pass DOJ background check
Must satisfactorily pass motor vehicle record check
Must have a valid and current California driver’s license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and valid vehicle registration
Has a real passion for helping others
Professionalism and respect for clients and colleagues
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Reliable, energetic, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
