About The Position

As a Direct Care Staff member, you will join a mission-driven team, fostering meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. The role emphasizes helping participants grow, learn, and live well, while also empowering staff with ownership and trust from leadership to make appropriate decisions for participants. Key aspects of the role include taking initiative to integrate participants into the community and engage them in their favorite activities. You will also be responsible for supporting individuals with various developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Furthermore, the position requires assisting individuals with personal hygiene and providing support to those who may present behavioral challenges or have other complex needs.
