About The Position
Community Interface Services (CIS) is looking to hire reliable Direct Care Staff to offer support for members of our community. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECT CARE STAFF This is a unique position, providing daytime, evening, weekend, and/or overnight (sleep hours are fully paid!) support to people with disabilities in El Cajon. Part-time and flexible work schedules are available. You will make a difference for others by teaching people with intellectual and developmental disabilities new skills and empowering them to reach their goals: Connect people with their community, find fun things to do, and meet new people Planning and preparing healthy meals Managing medications and other health needs Providing personal assistance with bathing, dressing, and using the restroom Be a valuable resource and assist with accessing public benefits and community resources WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING AT COMMUNITY INTERFACE SERVICES This social services position starts between $20-21 per hour, final offer dependent on education and related experience. Requirements
- High level of trustworthiness and integrity
- A solid work history and references that can attest to your dependability and reliability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Car in safe working order, vehicle insurance
- Valid CA driver's license, and 2 years of driving experience
Responsibilities
- Connect people with their community, find fun things to do, and meet new people
