A Little About Our Program… SequelCare of Arizona provides office and community-based therapeutic services for adults and adolescents, located allaround the state of Arizona. We have therapeutic foster care homes and adolescent/adult group homes, providing a continuum of care as needed. As a Direct Care Staff you will provide direct supervision to adolescents ages 12 -18 and/or adults. You will serve as a role model and provide support & structure to the residentsin our care.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
- Over the age of 21
- Maturity, empathy and patience
- Be special – Not everyone can do what we do
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment and follow proper protocols
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all client needs are met including but not limited to: meals provided, medications administered as prescribed,all documentation completed by the end of the shift (DAPs, communication log, monthly reports, QA’s and incident reports as needed)
- Maintain routine order at the residential facilities and during activities
- Address group concerns according to Positive Peer Culture standards and elicit positive change for residents
- Transportation to and from various appointments and activities (in company vehicles)
- Prevent and de-escalate crisis according to SCOA policy and protocols
