About The Position

As a Direct Care Staff member, you’ll be the heartbeat of our residential program — the one who brings calm to chaos, structure to uncertainty, and compassion to moments of crisis. You’ll walk alongside adults navigating psychiatric and co-occurring disorders, helping them build safety, confidence, and purpose one step at a time.
This role is hands-on, relational, and deeply human. Every day is an opportunity to make a difference that matters.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in behavioral health or human services preferred
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• 21+ with valid CA driver’s license and clean record
• Able to pass background check, TB test, and health screening

Responsibilities

• Support clients through their daily routines with consistency, patience, and empathy
• Model accountability and integrity — helping clients practice real-world skills and boundaries
• Provide transportation, assist with appointments, and promote safety and engagement
• Observe, document, and communicate behavioral patterns to the treatment team
• Foster connection through encouragement, structure, and presence
• Help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect
