About The Position

The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking Direct Care Staff to join our team in the New Milford, CT area. Our residential, outreach, and direct care staff establish life-changing relationships with our participants and provide opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery. Your role as a Direct Care Staff: CHD is expanding its services and needs client-centered, positive role models to support individuals who are challenged by mental health and substance abuse histories. We will train you extensively in our recovery and treatment approaches and provide you with a rewarding professional experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population preferred
• Ability to pass certification for CPR, First Aid
• Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check
• Approved criminal background check (CORI)
