About The Position

The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. This full-time position will be based at our housing site in Collinsville, IL. The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $19.00 - $20.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months’ peer or social service experience.
- Demonstrated skills in human services and in services to adults.
- Demonstrated ability to work within organizational structure; to accept supervision; and to work constructively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community.
- Basic computer skills including MS Word and an electronic medical record.
- Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.
Responsibilities
- Provide services in the location most conducive to the consumer’s level of change, including the client’s apartment or other community location.
- Facilitate services identified in the IM-CANS that are consumer-driven and that meet program requirements.
- Provide initial triage in crisis situations.
- Provide case management, community support, and medication training and monitoring.
- Conduct individual and group therapy to promote education and skill building to enhance independence.
- Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
