About The Position

Rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing direct services to clients and who enjoys the flexibility of working in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. This full-time position will be based at our housing site in Collinsville, IL.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months’ peer or social service experience.
• Demonstrated skills in human services and in services to adults.
• Demonstrated ability to work within organizational structure; to accept supervision; and to work constructively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and an electronic medical record.
• Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in the location most conducive to the consumer’s level of change, including the client’s apartment or other community location.
• Facilitate services identified in the IM-CANS that are consumer-driven and that meet program requirements.
• Provide initial triage in crisis situations .
• Provide case management, community support, and medication training and monitoring.
• Conduct individual and group therapy to promote education and skill building to enhance independence.
• Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
