Responsible for daily care and supervision of survivors in the Restoring and Educating Survivors to Empowerment and Transformation (RESET) program. This role involves engaging in a trauma-informed model to provide physical and emotional safety for residents, supervising various activities to observe and promote positive social behavior, and teaching rules, manners, and personal care practices. The specialist lead will also oversee cottage schedules and resident responsibilities, model and teach life skills, complete shift documentation including case notes and incident reports, and participate in treatment of residents through interaction, limit setting, and implementation of treatment plans. The position requires co-facilitation and involvement in clinical groups, escorting residents to various appointments and activities, maintaining age-appropriate rules, administering medication as ordered, preventing inappropriate behaviors, and providing crisis intervention. Professional boundaries must be maintained, and all appropriate information communicated internally and externally to facilitate client treatment. A flexible schedule is required to accommodate agency needs.
