About The Position
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. Direct Care / Caregiver Position – Join Our Caring Team and Make a Difference! Starting Pay: $16.25/hour | Additional differentials for education & experience • Additional $0.50/hour for 1–4 years of experience • Additional $1.00/hour for 5+ years of experience Make a Difference Every Day! Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting others
- Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility
- Provide proof of a valid driver’s license (non-probationary for at least 1 year)
- Ability to attend paid orientation and commit to training
- Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions
Nice To Haves
- 6 months – 1 year of caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene
- Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility
- Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served
- Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients
